Chloe Eddy

Executive Function Coach | College Academic Advisor

I have over a decade of experience counseling individuals in pursuit of their academic and life goals.

I work with students on the autism spectrum who are currently in or applying to college. I specialize in work with students who identify as LGBTQ+.

My philosophy is to identify and honor each person’s unique approach to education, working together to build a personalized plan for success.

Services

  • I offer executive function coaching for students looking to build the skills they need to achieve independence, with a focus on time management, proactive communication, personal responsibility, and identity exploration.

  • I provide one-on-one mentorship to help students succeed in their academics and college application processes. I take a practical, human-centered approach advising, identifying student goals and helping them build an action plan that suits their long and short-term needs.

  • Through teaching high-level writing, I aim to provide an essential tool for collegiate success. With a focus on structure, evidence-based reasoning, and personal voice, I work with each student to build skills in writing that highlight their natural strengths.

I grew up in Vermont in a family of artists. I graduated from Harvard College with a degree in Visual and Environmental Studies before moving to Los Angeles, where I teach virtually. I enjoy hiking, programming, and the constant search for another great book.

A few books I’ve enjoyed recently:

  • The Left Hand of Darkness - Ursula K. Le Guin

  • The Utopia of Rules - David Graeber

  • The Late Americans - Brandon Taylor
